Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods operates a sustainable farm and micro-dairy on 120 acres in the Ovens Valley.
Tolpuddle produces a range of specialty goat cheeses using only the milk from their small herd of Saanen dairy goats. The farm gate is open to visitors from Spring through until the end of Autumn each year. Tolpuddle closes during the cold Winter months to give their girls a well-earned break before the babies arrive in Spring.
Visitors to the farm can take a tour of the farm, meet the girls and during Springtime cuddle a baby goat. The cellar door and farm gate shop is housed in an original stone coach house adjacent to the dairy. Tolpuddle offers complimentary cheese tastings in the Cellar Door and serves cheese platters with locally made craft beer, cider and wine in the farmhouse garden. They are open from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday to Saturday each week, plus Sundays during Victorian school holidays and most public holidays.
